Long Day....My Favorite Kind

Today was great because I had a ton of classes. I'm really weird in the way I LIKE to learn...so I like going to class. History was fun, even though it really wasn't. In fact, after I wasn't sure I still had a pulse, but I really learned a ton about historical thinking which was great. I'm listening to the Grateful Dead right now, loving every second of it. The gym is calling my name and i was really excited to try salsa tonight but instead I have to do our English homework.
This is one of those things that really grinds my gears. We go to school so that we can live these ideal lives but instead of actually LIVING while we're still young, we sit in our dorms or libraries or lounges and do homework...which doesn't make us any better human beings and which we probably won't remember at the end of the day. As a result, salsa is on the back burner it seems. No. I take that back. Salsa is on the front burner, english is chillen in back and ill get to it when i get to it. yes.
Irresponsible? yes. But here's the thing: We only live once.

Welcome to the Space Jam

Tonight we've listened to such classics including, but not limited to:

All or nothing - O-town
Come on Over- Christina Aguileira
Space Jam
Jock Jams mega mix
Various Nsync hits
Six Minutes- LFO
Scrubs- TLC
The Cupid Shuffle
Needless to say, I'm entirely pumped up for any occasion that may arise tonight. Except homework, that doesn't seem conducive to the awesomness of 90's jams.

Today I spent an unnecessary amount of time at HoCo people watching...It was great. Also, I went to the gym and spent seven hours writing a history paper. Good times were had by all.

Ben Says: Well, what I always say is "when life gives you unripened avocadoes, make a sexually sexuctive sculpture under the lamp on top of the fridge. Or you could try to microwave them. Microwaving does not work. You never win gambling but not everything fun is a winner. I could really go for something that unlocks doors and his friend who sits in the earth for thousands of years dead. I need some vitamin C. Do you want it poetic? I'm afraid they're going to walk by and see it. Just like life."

This has been my day.
In reality I woke up, went to class, went to lunch with my friend kyle, went to the gym then went to dinner with kyle. I will now continue to read my history text book until the end of time. no really.

The Basics I Guess...

I'm a history major, I'm terrified of spiders, my favorite color is scarlet.
I hate schedules, being wrong and being told what to do.
French fries are my favorite food and I have not gone a day without coffee.
I absolutely believe in reincarnation.
Fall is my favorite season.
Morning is my favorite time of day, I hate the night because you can't see in color.
I daydream and wander more than I do anything productive.
I'm addicted to any type of adrenaline rush.
I love not knowing where the day will take me when I wake up.
I never think with my head and I'm WAY too impulsive for my own good.

Today I woke up at eleven which I HATE so now I'm in a terrible mood and I have to read 120 pages in my history book by tomorrow, so I think I'll be done now.

So this is my blog. The title is from the Jimi Hendrix song (which was also my first post) "Bold As Love" which I love for the imagery and because something about his music really brings me places. I'm a huge fan of all music that falls into the "classic rock" category, mostly because I love what the music is about. I love that it serves a purpose and people chose to be musicians both because music spoke to them and because they had a message to send.

Yesterday, Sarah and I learned the basics of Salsa dancing on Youtube. Salsa dancing happens to be the second thing on my list of things to do in life. ( I have a list of things to do in life because there are certain things that completely captivate me and I hate the idea of forgetting that any of the things on my list hold that kind of attraction for me.)

Today someone I don't know at all (I think his name is Joe, or sounds like it) explained to me in great detail why his favorite food is pizza. For some reason, I can't stop thinking about it. I never asked him his favorite food, I dont know how we got into conversation about it, but all I know about him is that he loves making pizza from scratch and he's probably at DHOP right now. It's just one of those things.

Also, the sun woke me up this morning before my alarm went off, which has to be one of my favorite things in the world.

He smiles, towering in shiny metallic purple armor.
Green jealousy, envy waits behind every door,
her fiery Green gown
snares at the grassy ground.
Blue are the life giving waters, taken for granted,
they quietly understand.
A once happy Turquoise army lay opposite and ready
but wonder why the fight is on.
But they're are all bold as love
they're all bold as love
Yeah, they're all bold as love
Just ask the axis
My Red is so confident,
that he flashes tokens of war
and ribbons of euphoria
orange is young and full of daring
but very unsteady for the first go around.
My Yellow in this case is not so mellow
in fact I'm trying to say,it's frightened like me,
and all these emotions of mine
keep tolling me from giving my life to a Rainbow like you.
